This authentic fossil jaw section comes from Enchodus libycus, often called the “saber-toothed herring.” These predatory fish lived during the Cretaceous Period (~70–100 million years ago) and were armed with long, conical fangs perfect for seizing prey.

The specimen features six well-preserved saber-like teeth in natural sandstone matrix, making it far more impressive than the smaller single-tooth fossils often seen for sale. The teeth show excellent detail, and the slab is solid, stable, and display-ready.
• Fossil Type: Enchodus libycus jaw section with teeth
• Geologic Age: Late Cretaceous (~70–100 million years ago)
• Location: Morocco
• Tooth Count: 6 visible teeth
• Condition: Strong preservation with good alignment in natural matrix; some natural wear consistent with age.

This is a striking collector’s piece that captures the fierce predatory nature of one of the most iconic Cretaceous fish. Guaranteed authentic fossil — not a replica.
