Rare vintage handcrafted ceramic stoneware vegetable steamer signed by "Jator".
Food stays hot & delicious. Lead-free Stoneware. Can safely be used in oven or microwave. Dishwasher safe.
Just fill the ceramic stoneware pot with vegetables & place on top of a boiling pot of water. The steam raises up through the bottom holes & gently cooks the food. It requires about 10-20 minutes to cook the vegetables. Serve directly from steamer or transfer to plate, platter or bowl.
Measures approx. 7" in diameter & 8" tall with the lid.

Previously owned steamer in excellent condition. There is some darkening of bottom that sits on boiling pan, but there are no nicks, cracks, chips, scratches or repairs.
