This is a vintage Noritake M Japan cake platter made of bone china. It features a pink and white chrysanthemum motif, hand-painted on a matte finish. The platter has a gold rim with gold loss observed and dual cut-out handles. The bottom is marked "Noritake M (in Maple Leaf) Made in Japan" and I believe this is a fake as I was unable to match the mark within my books and online resources. It is an original piece with a production style of hand-painted fine china. The platter is unboxed and has no manufacturer warranty. It measures 9.5 inches in diameter and weighs 15.8 ounces.Condition: Gold loss observed. No chips, cracks or crazing present.
