metal hinges
lined with red felt /velvet

made of the same quality wood
with a thin cork upper inlay
laser cut eagle design on the top of the box and on each coaster
these have been in use in my grandparents' living room for as long as i can remember. since the 80s /90s? my grandpa's hot tea would sit on one by his chair every day, all day long.
still in great pre-loved vintage condition:
the box is in excellent condition.
a couple of the coasters do show significant wear, rubbing of the wooden frame around the cork.
